Z-GIRLS, Z-BOYS with Pinoy members to debut in Korea

By Jonathan Hicap/mb.com.ph – Two pop groups with Pinoy members will be launched in Korea.

Z-GIRLS and Z-BOYS will have their official debut on Feb. 23 at the Z-POP Dream Live 2019 in Seoul at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. The show will also have Rain, APink, Monsta X, Chung Ha, LipBubble, Wanna.B and Tweety.

Members of Z-GIRLS are Carlyn Ocampo from the Philippines, Mahiro from Japan, Vanya from Indonesia, Priyanka from India, Bell from Thailand, Joanne from Taiwan and Queen from Vietnam.

The music video for their debut single “What You Waiting For” will be released today (Feb. 22).

Z-BOYS is composed of Josh (real name: Joshuel Bautista) from the Philippines, Mavin from Indonesia, Sid from India, Roy from Vietnam, Blink from Thailand, Perry from Taiwan and Gai from Japan.

Their first single is “No Limit” and its music video will also be released today.

According to Zenith Media Contents CEO Kang Jun, Z-Pop Dream’s goal is to have cultural exchange in Asia.

“I would like to brand a concert that ties Asia together,” he said, according to the Korea Times. “Z” in the project refers to Generation Z.
