By Patrick Garcia/mb.com.ph – Stan Lee, the man behind the whole Marvel Universe, met his creator on November 12, 2018. The world was devastated by this news; however, because of the phenomenal influence he left, his lifeworks are still looked upon and idolized up to now and for the years to come. And even though Stan Lee already passed away, his company still continues to make the world fill up with joy and imagination with the new comics and superheroes they create. And one of the new protectors of the universe is indeed, a Filipino.
This May, Marvel Comics will introduce a new team of superheroes to save the world in “The War of Realms” universe that will be set in Asia. “War of the Realms is this big, big Marvel universe story involving all the heroes from the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, the whole line,” Marvel editor Will Moss explained.
One of the members of this new team is a Filipino heroine named “Wave”. She, together with superheroes “Sword Master” and “Aero” will be the new additions in this universe. The story sees Amadeus Cho reassemble his “protectors” to save the world from incineration. Cho has successfully led a ragtag team of heroes to defend the Earth from an alien invasion in the past, but can he do it again this time?
