Sad ‘Journey’ for New Singer

Rolling Stone – Two minutes before Journey kicked off their world tour in February, with new singer Arnel Pineda, the whole thing nearly fell apart. “I told them I wanted to back out,” says the 41-year-old Filipino vocalist, whom the band discovered on YouTube. “[Journey guitarist] Neal Schon told me, ‘It’s too late now.’ He pushed me a little and said, ‘Go. 4 million Filipino youth sexually active – study

More than four million young Filipinos have already engaged in sexual practices, a recent study by the University of the Philippines Population Institute shows. In her report in GMA News’ 24 Oras, Kara David said that based on Young Adult Fertility Survey 3, a total of 4.32 Filipinos aged 15 to 24 years are already sexually active. (more…)
